- The new Lacuna Coil album will see a European release on January 29th and US release on February 6th. They have also been confirmed to support Theatre Of Tragedy on their extensive full-European tour that runs from January through February. Moreover, Lacuna Coil will be part of the 2001 Metal Odyssey festival tour featuring Nevermore, Dimmu Borgir, In Flames and Susperia in March and April in Europe. Both tours will be the perfect opportunity for Lacuna Coil to present their brand new songs to metal and mainstream audiences all over Europe! (Source: Century Media).

A new design and many new stuff: a Forum, a new Guest book, a new band On Thorns I Lay, a new section: site of the month... And I'm currently working on many new things, hope to be ready before the end of the year (if I've time...) !

- "As you probably noticed the second leg of the European tour will start in february 2001. To be exactly, the second half of february till somewhere in march. The band will do some gigs in East Europe together with some very first dates in Scandinavia!!! We will try to do some more gigs in Italy, Germany and Austria too. We will not play in Holland in january. Right now we're trying to find out if we have some space the end of fall.

4 Octobre 2000
- The last album from On Thorns I Lay, Futur Narcotic is available.
- Late breaking news reveal that Nightwish has signed a contract with Spinefarm Records to release a DVD. This is the first time a Finnish band releases a full-time DVD live video.
In addition to the complete gig to be played in Tampere, Finland on the 29th of December, the DVD will include all the videos Nightwish has released so far, plus clips from the South American tour and the upcoming European tour. These clips mean backstage scenes, interviews and other things that will surely grab the interest of fans.
The Tampere gig will be shot with 5 or 6 cameras and the sound will be recorded with no sacrifices to the quality, possibly with the expertise of Mikko Karmila. The post-production of the sound track will be done at the Finnvox studios in Helsinki.
The DVD is planned to be released in April 2001, roughly at the same time as the new MCD by Nightwish. (Source: Nightwish)

- New album - The Game (Dreams of Sanity): The New album was recorded in August 1999 at the Impuls-Studios (Hamburg, Germany) again, but due to problems in the distribution-section, the CD is going to be released on the 25th September 2000.
- For the first time in the Dreams of Sanity history the whole album features a single concept, that is not based on a book: It is the story of "the creature" that has to life through its whole life night after night with all the pain and the grief to entertain an audience, who only consider it as "The Game"... - The new album of The Gathering, If_Then_Else will be available on July 3, 2000. It will contains the following tracks: Rollercoaster, Shot To Pieces, Amity, Bad Movie Scene, The Colorado Incident, Beautiful War, Analog Park, Herbal Movement, Saturnine, Morphia's Waltz et Pathfinder. The band recorded the effort at studio S & K in Doetinchem, Holland and mixed it with Attie Bauw at Bauwhaus. The album is produced by The Gathering, with help from Zlaya Hadzich. The first edition of If_Then_Else will be a special digipak with exclusive artwork and a free sticker and poster. The new mini-CD Rollercoaster is already available. It contains the following tracks: Rollercoaster, theme from The Cyclist, Leaves (live) and a videoclip Liberty Bell.

- The new Lacuna Coil's EP Half Life has been released on the 20th March 2000. The cd will has been released in a digipack version. The next full-length should be released in October.
- New Nightwish album Wishmaster will hit the stores on 29th of May 2000. The album is released in Germany, Austria & Switzerland by >Drakkar Records.
Wishmaster was recorded at Finnvox (drums, choirs & vocals) and Caverock Studios (guitars, bass & keyboards) in Finland and mixed at Finnvox Studios by "the Finnish metal guru" Mikko Karmila (Stratovarius, Children of Bodom, Waltari etc.).
Wishmaster will present Nightwish even stronger as the previous Oceanborn album: The sound is massive, Tarja sings like an angel & the band is a total melodic-metal-machine. The songs are totally great (better than Oceanborn !!!! Can you believe that !!!!).
Wishmaster has 11 songs total & the running time of over 50 minutes. The tracklist is She Is My Sin, The Kinslayer, Come Cover Me, Wanderlust, Two For Tragedy, Wishmaster, Bare Grace Misery, Crownless, Deep Silent Complete, Dead Boy´s Poem and FantasMic.
Nightwish will tour South America for two weeks in July 2000. European tour for Wishmaster in September - October 2000. Go here for the tour dates and places.

- Dreams of Sanity: The Game, the band's third full-length album will be released around April/May 2000.
- Lacuna Coil: This Italian act have just finished recording an EP with producer Waldemar Sorychta at Damage Studios (Anathema). The EP is scheduled for a European-only release in April and features a couple of songs sung in their native language. In the spring the band will most likely return to the studio to record their next full-length which will be available worldwide (source: Century Media Online Newsletter).
- The Gathering: The recording of the new CD has started around mi-january with the recording of new studio album which has no title yet. They recorded the basic elements (drums, bass, distorted guitars) of 9 tracks. They were working on clean guitars, key's and samples and other things too. After the intense tour in Febr. 2000 they will record again 4 or 5 tracks to fulfill the album. It's difficult to say something about the new material, but they give us some key-words; emotional, organic, rock(!), intense, short songs... They don't have a CD-title yet, but they have some titles; If_then_else, Analog park, Herbal movement, Amity, Bad movie scene, Saturnine, Importance of the heart, Rollercoaster, The Colorado Incident, The masters, Beautiful war, Pathfinder (source: The Gathering).

- Many new things are planned for this new year ! Amongst that, we'll add an e-cards page where you'll be able to send nice (or bad...) messages, we'll add the biography of the band currently detailed on this website, we'll add more videos, and new bands...

- Added a page dedicated to the new album of The Gathering Superheat.
- Added a new lives section for The Gathering containing the tour dates and places. For the others bands, we'll add this section when we'll get the informations.
- The Live album of The Gathering, Superheat is out ! We really recommend it to you, because, in addition to the songs and the CD-Rom part of the CD, it contains a small booklet with lots of original photos... About the video of Eléanor, it's the same than the one who's on our website, except for a much better quality and longer playing time. If you want to have an overview of the CD, just go to this page, which belongs to the Metal Media website. It contains extracts from the all the songs of the disk.
- The Gathering will be on tour with My Dying Bride and Opeth from the February 3. For dates and places look there.
- The 3rd Nightwish album is planned for the May 31, 2000. The band is in the last Finish selection for the Eurovision show, the song is called Sleepwalker and you can hear the first 20 secondes here. It's short, but... (Thanks to Dyder for the infos).
